Realities and consequences of her partner's suicide

The realities of Daniel's suicide are embedded in his suicide note which is the focal document on which Moira Farr expanded in her book, After Daniel: A suicide Survivor's Tale.

Moira wrote "....suicide notes, written when people are at their pschological worst, are anything but the voice of clarity. Instead they are bizarre, rambling, angry and, above all, sad documents of disturbed minds."

Thus the suicide note gave us a good account of the nature and possibly some causes of one's distressed mind. They are but the realities as described by oneself before the suicide act is committed.

The consequences are felt by the loved ones and near ones. The parents of Daniel were to live with a never ending pain. Moira who is the the most dissastrously affected up to the point where she could not keep those tormented feelings but to expel them in, After Daniel: A suicide Survivor's Tale.

Hi Yousouf,

I really liked how you mentioned in your post that the parents of Daniel will face life-long pain and distress. Moira will also have to deal with the loss of Daniel. Loosing a loved one is a very hard thing to cope with. Good analysis of the memoir After Daniel.
