A memoir without villains?

I don't think you could consider this a memoir without villains. Although a villain is usually considered something evil, there are a lot of antagonists that oppose the supposed protagonist, Daniel. One such villain could be his addiction to alcohol. Alcoholism is a demon that for some people, deal with on a daily basis. They use it as a way that they think is beneficial to them, when really, it's only breaking them down, and allowing the bad to triumph over the good. Another such villain could be his estrangement from friends and family which no doubt, fed his loneliness and his desire to end his life. Not to mention his previous suicide attempts, perhaps another villain, which by the grace of God, he was able to overcome, until he finally succeeded. One could even go as far as to say that Daniel was the villain against himself, although he didn't mean to destroy himself, he did so anyway.
