Whos the Bigger Liar?

I believe James Frey is the bigger liar from “A Million Little Pieces” compared to Grey Owl, because Frey wrote a memoir about his life, the events that took place that make a person who they are. That turned out to be lies through out the entire memoir, and the lies were only to make his memoir more exciting. Grey Owl lied about his character, and where he came from, which does not make it “okay” to lie. I believe Frey wanted attention and thought that creating a personality, life, and events would make others interested in him. In this case it did but for the wrong reasons, he portrayed himself in the memoir as a liar that made millions of people fascinated with his memoir. Frey’s interview with Oprah he mentions that if he wrote a the memoir honestly about his own life there would only be very negative descriptions about his life, even though Frey mentioned that his own life experiences where negative, his false, fabricated memoir still created a negative image for himself
