Welcome students from Personal Journeys: Life Writing! I hope you enjoy your blogging experience. In this blog, you will respond to prompts about course material, comment on others blog entries, and discuss the use of blogs and podcasts in education.
This is a bonus blog (1%) so you are free to respond or not. It's about procrastination, a topic you may have experienced first hand. Some of us are great procrastinators.
First I'd like you to go 43 Folders to check out the ZeFrank Show on procrastination. You may need Flash or Quicktime to see the video.
Secondly, respond to any part of the video with an example from your own experience and how it may have gotten you in trouble.
Thirdly, read someone else's response and comment on it, as you have been doing in your journals.

hey!!! wats next
After watching this video about procrastination, I thought about what he said and I disagree with him. He talked about how people procrastinate by putting off what they have to do by doing other related tasks. For example, some people put off writing an essay by scrolling through the fonts and playing around with them. I feel when I procrastinate, I just put off doing what I need to do. For example, I put off my homework until the last minute. I do not do other similar tasks to put things off. When I have to do homework on a chapter from a book, I do not read the next chapter to put off doing the work for the necessary chapter.
A good example of my procrastination is related to my gerbils. About a month ago, my friend needed to get rid of his gerbils. He had four left and I decided to take them from him. He had to sell his off because two of his gerbils mated and had around twenty babies. His mom got mad and made him get rid of them. I took them from my friend under the condition from my mom that I had to take them to an animal store and find out which ones are males and which ones are females. I have had the gerbils for about a month now and I still have not taken them to get checked. I keep putting it off and every time I walk into my room, I pray that there are not twenty babies in the cage because I know that my mom would kill me!!
